WHO WROTE THE BIBLE
The christian bible consists of the 39 books of the Hebrew scriptures called by many the old testament, and the 27 books of the new testament. Thus, the bible is a miniature library of 66 books written by some 40 men in the course of 1600 years of history (from 1513 B.C.E to 98 C.E.). The Greek scriptures include four Gospels, or accounts of the life of jesus and the good news that he preached.
